Cooper Tire, the segment that is comprised of Cooper's tire and related businesses, focuses on the sale of passenger and light truck replacement tires. It also manufactures radial medium truck tires and materials and equipment for the truck tire retread industry. Cooper-Standard Automotive, the segment that includes all of Cooper's automotive components business, designs and manufactures automotive body sealing products and produces noise, vibration and harshness control products and fluid handling systems for the automotive industry.

In December 2004, the Company sold its automotive business, Cooper-Standard Automotive. In January 2005, Cooper reached an agreement with Kumho Tire Co., Inc.
